Some dreams start as tiny sparks—just an idea, a hope, a 'what if.' For me, that dream was always to start my own business, to build something meaningful, something that would bring joy to others. But even more than that, I dreamed of doing it alongside my husband, creating a life where our work was something we loved, something that truly mattered.
After years of dedication—finishing my degree, working an hourly wage job, and gaining experience in the wedding industry—I found myself at a crossroads. I had just graduated, and my heart was pulling me back to my hometown, a place filled with memories, love, and a community I cherish. I knew I wanted to bring something special to this town, to give people something beautiful, something heavenly. That’s how Halos Event Rentals was born.
I have always loved love. There’s something magical about weddings, about the way two people commit their lives to each other in front of family and friends. My own wedding was one of the most incredible days of my life, and I realized that I wanted to help others create that same magic on their special day. But beyond weddings, I saw a need for beautifully curated event rentals—whether for birthdays, corporate gatherings, anniversaries, or any special occasion. I wanted to take the stress out of planning and bring a little extra beauty, elegance, and joy to every wedding and celebration.
My background in entrepreneurship and marketing fueled this dream, but my passion for people made it personal. Before starting Halos, I worked at an engagement ring shop, helping couples find the perfect symbol of their love. It was there that I fell even deeper in love with the wedding industry, watching people step into one of the happiest seasons of their lives. But now, stepping into my own business, I get to take that joy even further. I get to create spaces where memories are made, where love is celebrated, and where every event—big or small—becomes extraordinary.
